Aunty Sochelle Hour-ish Show

In this VERY special episode, stand-up comedian Cathe B hosts Kit Wallis, aka  ⁨@SchizoKitzo⁩  (and her very own special guest, Miss B).  Longtime host of this show, who performs as Aunty Sochelle, takes off her accent and persona, just long enough to discuss her very own special mental health challenges with the smart, beautiful, funny, and wildly intelligent Kit Wallis.
Kit is someone who battles with schizoaffective disorder and bipolar depression with a grace that can only come from years of experience. Her shows on YouTube garner thousands of views every day, as she shares her issues with medications, workplace, hospitalizations, social interactions, myths of mental challenges and all of the things that a person who has confronted this serious illness must go through daily. She is not a doctor, but she certainly knows her stuff. Cathe has PTSD, MST (military sexual trauma), ADHD, and has battled chronic clinical depression since she was a child, which includes bouts of hallucinatory audio disorders, something she hasn't discussed publicly until now.
(Reminder, if you or someone you know in the US is fighting with suicidal ideations, please call or text 988, so you may be connected to help. We do NOT discuss suicide in this episode, however.)

How rare is it that we talk with actual cape-less superheroes? We never know unless we ask. Kate J White is far more than a popular voice actor and filmmaker. She is also a nurse in one of the trauma hospitals in Portland, Or. The Rose City Comic-Con presented this wonderfully talented woman to the attendees. Her insight and kindness are boosted by her second life as a Trauma nurse. (Of course, her job as a mom? Hardest ever with the best rewards!)  Check out one of Aunty's favourite interviews this year.

As a show that loves gamers, horror fans, and just all around nerdom, our team was excited to be invited as press to Portland, OR for Rose City Comic Con, 2026. In one of our special in-depth interviews, we chat with the exuberant, talented, vivacious, smart, and down-right whimsical Monica Lopez about her work.  She does so much to give representation to the Latina community in her work. Comics don't have to be just for skinny white boys- and she's proof that having a great story and great art can take you to places you never thought you'd go.

He is an absolutely lovely human and certainly a soft-spoken charmer. However, this actor is notoriously known for his cult character RIP Man. Owen Llewelyn has an eclectic love of all things retro gaming, and his joy is virally infectious.  His enthusiasm for games is his second career! Aunty had a great time speaking with this very talented performer, who has no qualms over playing creepy characters- or cops.

He looks like the guy next door. He is the everyman in many ways. He is a dad. He has a great job. He works with cool people. And you've probably had him in your living room dozens of times- The Office (US), Sons of Anarchy, Wonder Man. This charming guy is on this show, so you know there's something more. In fact, Blake Robbins career on camera has one thing missing- He needs to be a household name. From his quiet guy turned bad ass, to his side kick to Wonder Man, Blake plays it all. Now he also writes and directs, too. Get to know him and see if you aren't just as charmed as Aunty Sochelle is.

Film critic, author and downright awe-inspiring historian Luna Gray has so many wonderfully written pieces on substack and in iHorror magazine. She is also an advocate for the LGBTQIA world, having openly come out as trans. To me, she's just a super gal with a lot of cool ideas. Hoping you have as much fun with this one as we did!

The Universal Monsters enthusiasm of Jason Ginsburg is infectious. It's so much so, that it became a thing on the internet. He created a fake former amusement park, and it became a long running viral sensation. So, Jason wrote a book. All of this is just one facet of a very wild ride, that began as he was a tour guide performer at Universal Studios. Check out this truly unique chat!

There are few Renaissance men out there anymore. Few write poetry. Few are unique in their art. Few can perform sold out comedy shows about depression. Aaron Charles Foster stands out for being THAT guy. He speaks eloquently about his career as an actor, his side gig as a renowned artist, and most importantly about being an honest performer. Join us in our chat with the charismatic Aaron Charles Foster.

Just a few years into her career and Anisha Savan is a multi-award-winning writer, director and producer. Her films aren't the typical teen slasher pieces. She puts realistic relationships into some very horror-filled conclusions, making any moment in time the scariest moment ever. Anisha's beauty may beguile you, but her mind will devour your attention and make you her fan!

There are currently fifty-six film festivals that have scooped up Danielle Weinberg's Invasion '53 into their line-ups. For an up-and-coming screenwriter and director, that's just about a World Series Win after a first year in the league. She even managed to get one of the best-known actors in Sci-Fi and horror to be her featured star: Jeffrey Combs. This graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Loyola Marymount has a keen skill. Join Aunty and the extraordinarily gifted writer and director who discus her recent wins! She's candid, open and downright funny. Website: https://www.writtenbydanielleweinberg.com/
